Cleaning Calf Feeders with Xtreme Clean

It’s calving time, and Xtreme Clean makes it easy to clean calf feeders. There are two ways to do this.
1) If you haven’t cleaned your calf feeder from last year

I know you meant too, you just never quite got around to it. Just make the Xtreme Clean up at a rate of 1:5 (one part Xtreme Clean to five parts water) and spray the entire feeder with a good heavy spray.

Leave it for five minutes, preferably in the sun.

Hose the calf feeder with your high pressure hose.

Marvel as everything comes away.

2) If you are cleaning your calf feeders during calving time.

I know you have a process that involves scalding hot water, and a scrubbing brush. You have two options.

You can spray the feeder with a mix of Xtreme Clean at 1:5 (one part Xtreme Clean five parts water). After this you can scrub and rinse in your usual manner.

Or you can follow the directions in part one, spray with mix of Xtreme Clean and hose off with shed hose.
