Xtreme Clean (New Zealand’s best citrus cleaner) is excellent at removing rust stains from a variety of surfaces.
This is one of the times I say a variety of surfaces. Rust is caused by oxidization. In some cases the oxidization bonds to the surface and is impossible to remove. In the majority of cases Xtreme Clean will blitz away the rust stain as it is a surface mark. Common places where Xtreme Clean works wonders on rust marks
Sides of vehicles
Wallpaper (frequently found when a hook has rusted whilst being on the wall)
Sides and backs of whiteware
Sides of bookshelves
Simple make up a mix of Xtreme Clean at 1:5 (One part Xtreme Clean to five parts water) apply on the area and wipe off. The rust mark will come clean away!
